  • Been saying since the start: Iran is in on all this.

Edit: Okay, clearly many of you have not thought this through:

    • IRGC Coup -- The IRGC has LONG been wanting to make a move over the Ayatollah. Now the new Ayatollah is a sockpuppet and the IRGC has completely taken over by way of coup.
    • Quelled Civil Unrest -- Prior to this conflict, civil unrest in Iran was heavily mounting. Thousands upon thousands out on the street. Now Iranian dissidents hopeful for being rescued were baited out of their homes, only to be slaughtered the first time Trump left them hanging, and the second time Israel and USA suddenly became the new threat and rallied the masses around while also indicating nobody was actually coming to save them from the tyranny within.
    • Superficial Damage -- Most damage done to Iran has largely been superficial for media optics. Even their nuclear program has largely remained intact.
    • New Cashflow -- Not only has this massively benefitted Russia with lifted oil sanctions, the IRGC got a massive injection into their own economy, both with the new toll system but also the literal cited fucking article above.

I stand by what I said: Iran, or rather a certain faction in Iran, was likely in on it. This makes worlds of sense when you realize how tight Iran, Russia, and Republicans are together.

  • Haha I like that. True! But it's a double-edged sword because that can quickly accumulate and have the opposite effect, reducing free chlorine and thus efficacy. Pain to drain pool, but really the only solution. I've been trying 2 half drains.

  • Given the sheer surface area of that pool it's gotta be a nightmare to maintain too. Sunlight cripples chlorine.

  • This all goes well beyond Trump now. The only thing that matters is sinking the entire Republican party and with it a good chunk of the conservative ideology.

Must seize on this opportunity to make an actually good Project 2029 only for the people.

  • Speaking of Jesus, I bet he's scratching his head why his (admittedly fake) followers are naming it War and not Peace in terms of the objective at least.

  • These fuckwits have absolutely lost it but I honestly prefer them just being out in the open with it instead of the false pretenses of good Christian boys like before.

  • Trumpers will 100% go, "look how brave he is going into the lion's den and look how unfair she was to him! Good on him for leaving and putting her in her place!"

Doesn't help sexism is obviously rampant among them.

  • There's certainly much, much more volatility here. Some people genuinely wrongfully banned; some... Less stable folks I think, "yeah you know what, you probably deserved the ban."

  • For transparency, bystanders should note I tagged this user as promoting Jill Stein last cycle, so there's frankly a certain irony to this user in particular talking when their views contributed to Trump being reelected by wedge-driving and promotion of the Spoiler Effect.

  • DGAF, tbh. Collins, allegedly older and wiser, voted to send troops there in the first place to kill people.

    Still better than Collins.

    Known Evil vs. Variable.

  • No question. At this point and after primaries I view anyone not fully onboard with getting rid of Republican congress by voting Dem as being complicit with or maga themselves.

  • I'm still a bit unfamiliar with how blocking instances and users works. My main concern is: does blocking these prevent me from saving the naive from falling for their bullshit?

  • Concentration camp warehouses, of course!

  • But leave it to maga to exclaim pardoning non-violent marijuana users and the like by Biden as being the same issuing pardons and commutations like this, or for the likes of Steve fucking Bannon.

The scale of corruption is orders of magnitude worse.

  • What's the latest on the Governor's race? I read Becerra surged forward due too crypto bros and righties, any truth? I was pretty supportive of Steyer

  • Even running within the party, how much have senior Dems propped up the likes of Swalwell or Bill Clinton himself? Platner is without a doubt the better of the two options, even if there is risk. But honestly, this seems fairly overblown considering his wife is the one who brought this info to the campaign staff before they were leaked in the first place, and second, they had already gone through marital counseling if I understand right.

That the backstabbing seems to be coming within the party and from AIPAC suggests to me that Platner may be the real deal.

  • Dude that may just be my first cage match I'd watch, Hunter slamming any of the Trump sons down. Bonus: Kushner.

  • Not that I doubt it but what do you mean the DNC backed an indie candidate? I thought the DNC chair endorsed Mamdani following primaries?
