  • It just bothers me that searching for me on Pixelfed will list my gram.social and my programming.dev accounts.

The programming.dev one has a full profile already too, but I can't figure out how to access it to post.

  • You know

  • No, after a harrowing run-in with the Witch of the Swamp, they had a talisman embedded in their chest that forces them to warn people when they need to be both pragmatic and somber.

So it literally is the pendant in them.

  • The problem is his friends own a lot of the media

  • It's funny because they all want to be evil scumbags for the sake of money, but they don't agree on which particular brand of evil is best

  • Contrary to popular belief, CEOs aren't necessary for a company to run, but they do maximize the profits while they're there

  • I think the entire reason they're doing this is to set the precedent that they can defy court orders.

  • They hurt Musk's feelings

  • Maybe Trump should stop picking people he met on epstien's plane.

  • Republican lawmakers only swear an oath to whomever is paying them the most.

Edit: Democrats do it too, just not as obviously and not all of them. Until we get rid of corporate lobbying, we'll be firmly in an oligarchy.

  • It's funny you mention the ACA, since what we have now came from Republicans absolutely gutting the original ACA proposal which should surprise absolutely no one since the GOP is bought and paid for by insurance companies.

  • I get what you're saying, but apathy at that scale isn't calling democrats a horse. It's taking a backseat on your future.

  • "I know why she lost"

She lost because 11 million people sat out this election. That's it, that's all there is.

The fact is that most of this country leans blue, and when voters turn out, blue typically wins. This is why the GOP is doing everything they can to make sure people don't vote.

Trump has a vote ceiling of around 74, maybe 75 million. In 2020, 81 million people voted for Biden.

  • In America, you can't open a bank account without an address. That means that the homeless population can't open a bank account (not easily, anyway), and therefore can't get a debit card.

Cashless is a nice idea, but it is extremely prohibitive against the most vulnerable people (which, sadly, might be part of the point).

  • I think the headline writer got confused about all the zeroes

  • How did I know Elon was attached to this before I even clicked the article?
