  • It looks fantastic! How did you get it so clean and modern? Bootstrap?

  • Cool, would you care to share some of your favorites?

  • Okay, I don't know the history. It is unfortunate to not have project differences spelled out, because the truth is most of us know nothing about these things. Sounds like a no, but would it be possible for the projects to collaborate?

  • This is actually an interesting idea for automation. Tracking users based on self-topic deletion within a community would be worth having.

  • Could you explain to us why you would recommend your project over tuwunel.

  • You can always change the name on your instance. Agree that there is no reason to use the project name, especially in this case.

  • Are others running Dokuwiki in production? Would much appreciate suggestions for setting up a nice wiki flow. Right now there is probably a lot of improvements to be made in terms of indexing and otherwise organizing content. I find the plain text syntax takes a while to wrap the brain around since it isn't markdown, but certainly fun to experiment with.

  • How is building a collective knowledge base possible without gathering the advice of others here?

  • Even more indentation?

  • Thanks for that link! Makes total sense to honour.

  • Is this your game?

  • What would you suggest instead of indentation? My mind is still thinking of this as markdown, as opposed to html.

  • _|||||=...

  • As the creator of that thread, and a Nextcloud volunteer, I can confirm that Nextcloud can absolutely be run without a VPN. That is exactly what it is designed to do, scaling to millions of users.

    It is vastly more deployed, modular, enterprise grade, and battle tested. Running it is nothing like running Jellyfin.

  • Yes. Not only that, but it can be exposed at garagantuan scale for the last decade. Use of a vpn is totally optional.

  • By definition, you are a pirate for ripping your purchased physical media! One can only imagine the depravity of then hosting that content for others! Straight to jail!
