The "Sacred Ashes" trailer for this game is SO hype. I remember being so disappointed that the characters didn't look the way in-game that they did in the cinematic. Still a fantastic game though, I wonder how difficult it is to get it running on a modern pc.
Do the individual photons slow down? No. But those photons get absorbed by atoms along the way and then a new photon of light is emitted (nearly, but not literally, instantly) which then continues along it's merry way at C until it encounters another atom. What slows down is the net speed of transport through a given medium.
Is lab grade distilled water more guaranteed to be neutral pH? Because I tested some random distilled water from walmart and it was like 5.5. I then went down a rabbit hole and learned that distilled water is so pure that it just sucks up carbon from the air.
Oh yeah, I forgot he actively removed it. That's what I was referencing lol. "All I know is... they won't get very far." All this episode was missing was a scene of Picard crawling through a jefferies tube in one of those Voyager-style tank tops.
Ahh yes. The episode where Picard shoots a terrorist in the leg with a crossbow, leaves another to die of their own stupidity whilst gloating about it to the Starbase, and then ends on a Mister Ed reference.
Maaan now I'm disappointed this never came up. A Voyager style episode where Archer gets drawn into some "alien sport you've never heard of but its definitely earth water polo" fiasco could have been pretty funny. Instead we got.. what was it, desert volley ball with a terrorist?
Oh, and here I thought it was where he genetically engineered midichlorians. TIL!
