All the cool kids hang out at Ten Forward

  • on behalf of shawties everywhere, thank you! 👍

  • Oh I remember that one now, it was a trippy episode. Fantastic show, I need to watch it again.

  • Yeah, and there are stairs, so it's definitely from what, somewhere in the last two seasons?

  • That's the thing about being a parent, you do what's necessary for your kids, even without thinking sometimes. I'm talking out of my ass, I don't have kids. Yep, the "weight limit" thing is a thing, but what throws me off lately is the weight distribution thing and all the fun that comes with that. I'm carrying the 38 lb box of cat litter by the strap handle thing with one hand to the car (because in spite of everything that has happened in my life and everything I learned about myself lately, I still feel the need to look tough for some dumb reason) and I set it down next to the trunk, and not only am I wiped out, but my fingers really hurt and are sore for the next half hour. What the fuck is this, arthritis?

  • Yay, props to Pops for the save from a John McClane situation!

LMAO my back aches at the mere thought of lifting anything over 50 lbs. Omg, speaking of which, my 50th is just a few months away. Argh how did I get so old

  • Yep that seems about right

  • ahahaha that Death Star one is nice

  • ahahahaha this is terrifying

  • Howdy, sister! Oh wow, it never occurred to me that it was an option. Jadzia is a supremely cool (and honorable) name. Ah damn, too late for me, already started the name change process lol

  • I love this meme, it gives me the warm & fuzzies. It was actually PugJesus's post of this meme yesterday that jogged my memory! There was discussion about the "Rejoined" episode, and I was like waitaminute omg wtf lol

  • That's the episode. It got a fair bit of press when it aired due to the "lesbian kiss", which probably sounds ridiculous now, but that was like...wow, literally two generations ago. It was a wild time, it was just a year earlier that the U.S. military released its official policy on sexual orientation, which basically amounted to pretending that nobody is gay. On a personal note, I remember crying like a baby at the end of this episode when I first saw it and not understanding why it affected me so deeply. And holy crap, I'm now realizing it was my subconscious screaming "That's you, dummy!!"
