  • It's a fair question. Why should the factory worker robots, the Johnny Cab drivers, the Amazon warehouse picker machines, the writerbots, the delivery drones, and the giant death robots get all the attention in the pages of the business press?

    Spare a thought for the sex robots of the future. They will presumably be here soon, as AI takes over every aspect of life.

    At least for my home network I'm going to just go with plain old GNU syslogd.

  • There's a French community or two hanging in there, and I sometimes see German or Greek. Surprisingly little Russian or Japanese compared to the rest of what I see of fedi, but I don't think it's got anything to do with people being "accepting" of other languages or cultures — it's just a matter of people who want to use them reaching some kind of critical mass.
