Last year, in Sapporo, I went to a bar that serves unlimited lemon highball (i.e. hard liquor) out of a tap. The whole bar is lemon-themed. It was very cheap, like $10 for 90 minutes of all-you-can-drink lemon highball or something like that. Anyway, I'm not a heavy drinker by any means, but dear god, we got blasted. I don't think I can look at a lemon again without feeling mildly nauseous.
But this proposed data center is so big, it would have its own dedicated energy from gas generation and renewable sources
Very unfortunate, as this could have been an opportunity to advance the green power agenda. Solar, wind, and nuclear are all more efficient than fossil fuels -- so why build new fossil fuel plants?
Perhaps the original is right-wing, though this happens a lot (e.g. the "change my mind" guy). This meme seems anti-collective shout, so I'd place it left wing.
idk why you responded to my comment with all that. Your first paragraph is, "yes, I agree, and here's another law that's also very similar in many countries"; which, ok, sure. But your second paragraph is completely unrelated to what I said.
ah, didn't realize this. Thanks for explaining!
