  • I worked at a movie theater for my first ever job. I lied about my age to get it, I was 14. It was a great job, working the concession stand. I got to drink mad slushies, and all the pretzel bites that I could sneak. Got a movie poster, can't even remember which one, and some discounted tickets. Made some friends, it was awesome.

But yeah my manager and the guy doing all the projector work were just, 100% not happy 😅 I guess now I know why

  • hmmm. Probably a bunch of drugs, call the people I love. play some vidya games with some on-line friends I've grown to care about. Eat the most delicious foods, and lots of them, maybe even induce vomiting so I can eat more without feeling gross. I... really like chocolate covered pretzels and pizza. Go for a walk in nature on shrooms. Attempt to set up a three-way, fail.

  • the Federal Trade Commission Act expressly excludes “air carriers and foreign air carriers” from the Commission’s Section 5 authority over unfair or deceptive practices.

And while several states are passing laws on the matter, those are expressly preempted by the Airline Deregulation Act.

Regulations don't apply to them for... reasons

  • The FTC is warning retailers not to use private consumer data to raise prices, but the Federal Trade Commission Act expressly excludes “air carriers and foreign air carriers” from the Commission’s Section 5 authority over unfair or deceptive practices.

    bro, whut?

AI will identify a funeral traveler or stranded passenger and charge more.

The argument here is that AI will improve price discrimination (and therefore total revenue)

There's a whole lot of other words in the article claiming that this "actually can lower ticket costs for some consumers!" and "AI will increase productivity!" but it's all bullshit. Every single person that's been forced to work with AI already knows it doesn't do shit right, and their only example of offering a lower fare is to a "leisure traveler that might otherwise stay home." Oh, OK, so a rich asshole that travels for fun?

FUCK THIS BULLSHIT AND FUCK DELTA

  • The Navy commission came amid broader efforts in the Pentagon under Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to remove names selected for what the administration considers diversity, equity, and inclusion purposes.

    In other words, Racism.

  • Right now I'm working 100% remotely for my company, but considering moving to another state so I can be with my long-distance girlfriend. I was thinking about asking if it was OK but... Now I think I'm just gonna go and if they randomly decide I need to be in the office someday is when I'll tell them the great news lol

...and by that I'll say "yeah, I'll be there in a day to straighten this whole thing out, I'm delayed because of Insert lie here!" And then fly in like a loser because this job is the only thing keeping my head above water right now

  • ethnic impoverished cleansing

  • Because 👏 They're 👏 Evil 👏

  • Silent bathrooms are the fucking worst. When you go in, have to stand right next to some guy at a urinal, and you both can hear exactly how much piss is happening, or when it's not happening. Nothing shrivels up my bladders ability to expend faster than complete silence and the attention of a stranger.

Also once I was visiting a foreign country and found a girl on tinder, we were fuck buddies for the duration. She stayed over one night, and I had to shit in the morning. With her sitting on the bed quietly scrolling her phone like 5 feet away. It was awful. Felt like I couldn't fart, could barely get anything out, my diet had been bad so it was going to be a difficult poo anyway. It was awful.

But out in public, whenever I accidentally fart, or on purpose fart but I intended it to be silent, I just laugh immediately afterwards. If I think it's funny, then it's not awkward.

  • Yup, it's always democrtas that are to blame. just keep sowing this whataboutism bullshit. All you're trying to do is depress the vote. it's plain as day.

  • Are you stupid? The specific synagogue they were protesting at was holding an event for an israeli based company selling stolen Palestinian land.

    Just keep crying

  • I don't think you're giving Obama enough credit here

While he failed to get a comprehensive immigration reform law passed, he took important steps toward protecting DREAMERs and focusing enforcement priorities.

DACA provides protection from deportation and work authorization to certain undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as children. In the last few years, DACA has proven successful for the 740,000 individuals who benefitted from the initiative.

One of the first steps the Obama administration took toward changing enforcement priorities came with the elimination of large worksite raids, which had been widely used during the Bush administration. In contrast to large raids, Obama emphasized investigating and penalizing employers. Early changes were also made to the priorities of the Fugitive Operations Program, which had been apprehending “the easiest targets, not the most dangerous fugitives.”

Compared to the current administration being overtly racist (Calling all Mexican immigrants drug mules, saying that Haitians are eating cats and dogs), while upping ICE budgets so they can chase after people without any criminal history...

I'd say the choice is obvious.

  • same food every day gang! it's cheap, nutritious, delicious, and a breeze to prepare, what's not to like?

  • black licorice jelly beeeeeans 🤤

  • Ok I'll just start wishing upon the sun then! for my first wish! I wish my eyes didn't hurt so much

  • I think the republicans being obstinate and stonewalling at every conceivable avenue might have had an effect.

  • protest at synogogue

You mean like the one where an isreali company is promoting the sale of stolen Palestinian land? and protestors showed up? 100% called for.

Most people understand that it's the idf and the isreali government that's to blame for all this, but if you have a population committing a genocide, yes, there's gonna be some people who take it personally.

  • I used to be real hyped about self-driving cars. I thought it would be just the answer we needed to our profound lack of public transportation. But after they took off the LIDAR system, it just became a money grab. And what was I thinking anyway? Self-driving cars? the answer to no public transportation? As if you'd want one of these cheap systems in charge full of a BUS of people?

My ex-wife was right. Shoulda just went with fucking trains. But we can't, because an ego-maniacal billionaire wants to be a trillionaire. Reason #4,506 of why I hate living in the United States

  • protests at synagogues and general harassment of Jews.

when you spout easily disproven bullshit like this, I know that you're purely agenda driven. You're a fool.
