That's totally fair. Ive never owned a pair since there isnt really a reason if you dont need prescription glasses so I didnt realize they could wear out so fast, but the concept and material science is really cool nonetheless
On an only semi-related note, photochromics are super dope and are definitely one of those technologies that make me feel like I'm living in the cool future we were promised.

They destroyed the apollo app with the api price hike and that was more than enough to steer me away. I will admit I still use it for some recreational nsfw type activities but only on desktop, I'm not touching that garbage app
