  • Thank you very much for this reply. I didn't need to stick to claude or openclaw at all, I definitely don't want to give any model any free reign over my data. It's just the ones I've seen mentioned the most, I guess. But I'd like to be able to run it all locally, and only on command. Your answer is exactly what I needed. I'm gonna study carefully the options you provided, and I might go from here. Again, thanks!

  • Thanks! I have an understanding of being able to run these models as LLM you can chat with, using tools like ollama or GPT4All. My question would be, how do I go from that to actually do things for me, handle files, etc. As it stands, if I run any of these locally, it’s just able to answer offline questions, and that’s about it…how about these “skills”, where it can go fetch files, or go find an specific URL, or say a summary of what a youtube video is about based on what’s being said in it?

  • On Linux? Why?

  • As long as you don't mind the webcam not working, which except for the oldest models seemed to be a constant with the Surface tablets.

Edit: i mean in Linux, as these camera modules are near impossible to support.

  • Beep please stop cropping the artists signature out of their own comics.

  • Is this his alt?

  • OP has a (very) long and dismissive history of posting while deleting the watermarks of the original artists.

  • It was 42, by the way.

  • The one time I saw this greatly played was with Ish' story in The Last of Us. That one...really hit you.

  • The refund would be based on the purchase receipt, no other way to calculate that. Anything else would involve a convoluted process with lawyers. So yeah, replacement is the only meaningful option.

  • Great...How can we install it on non-EU regions? I know someone that might be interested on iOS.

  • Wouldn't the very same argument apply here for the attestation?

  • I have a Pixel and I remember seeing this specific option in Graphene. But that still leaves the devices you connect to anyway, which still travel with you and probably won't rotate the identifiers.

  • The end model will be the 70s Arthur Clarke prediction. Just a dumb terminal with no processing capabilities at home, hooked to a mainframe (privately owned of course) which you'll have to use your all your daily needs.
