Scotch as in the tape, not the whisky

  • and have to vape weed every day in order to get tired enough to sleep

You need to talk to a medic or psychiatrist about this, I've had the same issue since I was born and averaged a couple of all-nighters a month just staring at the ceiling.

Now I take meds ( 25mg Seroquel, but dont blindly trust me and ask a professional for one more suited to you), and go to sleep regularly every night, and even better, I get sleepy in the evening, which is something I could have never dreamt of back when I needed to roll in my sheets to tire myself out.

If anything I said resonates with you, please try it, even if you have legal weed where you live it's not worth the side effects and the sleep from it is barely decent

  • "No."

  • the pi's serving me very well for now, load average at idle 0.01 and when doing stuff it hovers at around 50, temps under 40°C even under load and an extremely low noise level (not to mention the almost non-existent power draw)

if one day I decide to go full homelab with proxmox and stuff i might buy a dedicated tower but I don't see the appeal atm

  • "the cylinder must exit unharmed"

  • docker-ify everything, my nginx, nextcloud, pihole, jellyfin, and basically everything else is a nightmare and I can't even begin to understand how to modify the shit that 2023 me did 2023 chatgpt spat out, so having everything in some neat docker composes is gonna help immensly

also making the Pi that everything's hosted on boot of an SSD instead of a cheap chinese SD card, but that requires money and I'm all out

  • i get the ne= neon joke but I have no clue why the image is cut like that or why it's funny

  • Double it and give it to the next person

  • Iodine is readily available at every drug store in liquid form.

You're referring to a solution of elemental iodine in water of about 5% (or more likely, iodine-povidone, as the iodine alone doesn't like being dissolved in water) that is used for disinfection

The iodide (IDE, not INE) tablets, where the iodine is in it's ionized form (I- , usually with potassium as the cation K+) are what you want for radiation treatment, you take them orally and the dosage is in the milligrams, much lower then the iodine solutions.

The solution also doesn't absorb at all through the skin, but you don't see the iodine anymore because it vaporizes rather quickly

  • they also would never add that funny phrase " this is not a drill"

  • meh, radiations not yummy, but you would be safe from immediate danger

  • we're in the same boat, but it does the job and stays under 45°C even under load, so I'm not complaining

  • to be fair, it does need to be very waterproof, I'm not saying it can't be done but it's one of the very few limited uses where I'm ok with it

  • Itch.io games site taken down

  • ICANN is pretty strict about this following some complications that happened back in the 90's . No country, no country code, no domain. No matter who, no matter what.

  • the internet? you mean google? what app is that? maybe facebook? no hold on I got it: it's tik tok isnt it

  • lmao. rofl even. Fluoride is incredibly expensive AND useful, if you run an industry you wanna make sure you absolutely recover it from byproducts and reuse it, not to mention that with how low the levels in tap water are, it wouldn't be even a good way of disposing a lot of it

  • many toothpastes have it, no need to use multivitamins
