On tumblr, instead of replies and re(posts|woots|tweets)/boosts, there's just reblogging.
You can put a small hidden message in the hashtags section of a post, and sometimes people post these as a reblog if they see one someone else posted that shouldn't be hidden (in their opinion).
"common sense" positions are usually ones people haven't thought much about or reasoned themselves into.
