Ability to get a subscription of Proton VPN in China and Russia doesn't necessarily mean that they are not blocked. If you can get a subscription to a service your country desperately is trying to block, it is probably not in a straight "go to website, pay, get service" way. You probably had to find workarounds to get it. That does not count as "operating in this country".

Before I got married, I always put some snoozefest video to fall asleep to. Now I fall asleep by itself. Frankly, I am not even close to my wife who falls asleep in 5 minutes if she leaves her phone alone. But 10 to 15 mins is guaranteed for me.

Me with my wife got sick real bad in the end of March. Sore throat, coughing, blocked nose, no temperature but cold feeling, exaustion, headache. All these for 2 weeks for me and my wife and for some it went over 3 weeks. We spend 2 weeks at home barely going outside. This sickness was nothing I have experienced before. We didn't test for corona but it also didn't felt similar compared to our previous corona times.
We also know some people directly who got sick with a similar sicnkess (in our proximity and outstide of the city) and I also know from my friends and coworkers that some people they know got sick with similar sickness.
I am technically still recovering. My symptoms went away except coughing. I constantly feel snot in my throat and recently began to cough out fresh blood and not clots anymore. I been to doctors 4 times already and now am consuming double the does of some coughing pill that doc prescribed. I think it is helping but that is too early.
Surprisingly, we had guests at our home at exactly the days we got sick and none of them got sick in the end.
I may be an outlier. But this year it seemed that tons of people got sick with something they never been sick before which is not covid or anything simple as common cold or even bronchitis. Hope this is not pandemic 2.0

Because Chrome is used by normies who have no idea and wont care while Firefox is used by tech-literate users who care and like to tinker. The backlash was because FF implemented AI that you had to go to about:settings to disable. Result of backlash - a switch in settings to disable it.
It would be smart to implement AI and advertise people that they can switch it ON if they want to. Not the other way.
Folks are free to use whichever distro they like, Librefox, Waterfox, but remember that without Mozilla foundation the very engine would stop working. Then these forks will not work anymore
There is nothing to go to. But if we accept the outcome, we just submit to the system. Might as well switch to chrome at that point hoping that Servo gets developed fast enough. Firefox would lose their browser share at an instant once they are not different from chromium based browsers. Basically seppuku themselves.

What annoys me is that people began to use them to not to do simple things like writing their own posts about their own things. They began to generate content instead of making it. It is obvious that anything what takes time to be produced, will most certainly be automated once tools are given. But this annoys the hell out of me.
Seeing posts, comments, content generated by LLM, I feel that I am being robbed of artistry, curiosity, interactions with real people. I can automate chats with my family, friends, colleagues, children. But that wont be me. That will be perfect grammar sentence generator, not me - real, tons of mistakes, typos, mostly renting about everything, passionate, bored, funny, witty, dull me.
It saddens me that LLMs are exedcuting (almost?) final blow to a society that is sustaining social media terminal damage.
I remember getting 2nd 128mb DDR that allowed me to run Half Life 2 more smoother. Or additional 2GB of DDR2 to upgrade for 64bit Windows 7. Wild times.
