  • Having a reliable source that you trust certainly goes a long way. Not fool proof, but I'd say good enough. Still good idea not to consider it a source of absolute truth and to continue to think critically.

Otherwise, eye witnesses will be crucial. "Pics or it didn't happen" is a relic of a bygone age.

  • What I meant is that some people just don't want to give ther money to Mullvad, since some of it will end in his pocket to finance a political party they don't agree with.

  • Not sure how involved he is but I guess as a co-founder he is bound to be getting some of the Mullvad money

  • Lately I have to restart my internet from the settings every couple of days- I didn't actually think to use airplane mode, will be trying that next time.

Edit: so tested it soomer than I thought and yep, sure enough airplane mode fixes it. So thanks for this life hack. Good to know I'm not the only one as well.

  • My understanding is that no... not yet anyway. Phones with GrapheneOS are not "verified" Android so you can proceed to install whatever.

There will b .indirect damage with some devs likely stopping development as their userbase might get smaller still - if they refuse registering with Google.

And I guess there is a future when Google will start tightening the noose on Android itself, which will likely make alternate Android OSs harder to develop (though I know nothing about these things, I sense this is an option down the line).

  • I think there is a way to allow this - the way involves a 24h wait time

  • I like my spaghetti with ketchup... what do you think?

  • Why? I find Barilla sphagetti the best.

  • I'd prefer piefeditor, without the double "d". Unnecessary callback to the other site.

  • Kingdom of Shadow by R.A. Knaak.

I played lots of Diablo 2 back then and a friend once went into this small nook with books in a local games shop and showed me they have Diablo books. I wasn't much of a reader. I read some books that I enjoyed, but moat of them I was made to read.

I wanted to know more about the world of Diablo so I bought it. I mever expected it to grab me as it did. When I came home, I was like "let me read a chapter and go to actually play after". The boom jumped right into action with the first sentence and the PC was not turned on for 3 days (unheard of until then) as I used every free moment to read the book.

I bought other books in the series right after and then started to branch out to other fantasy series. This is the book that made me a reader. And I can thank a videogame for that.

  • Also, a malicious individual can use stupidity of the masses to get in power and get their way

  • No one has ever observed it or heard it or felt it.

    I wish.

  • Three monitors is incredibly handy sometimes.

I have two, but one is in pirtrait mode. I use it when I need to read through a document but also can have two windows one above other to simulate a second monitor and use it like that at work fairly regularly.

  • So say we all

  • Despite the extreme nationalism of Naumann and his colleagues, the Nazi regime did not accept them. The Association of German National Jews was declared illegal and dissolved on 18 November 1935. Naumann was arrested by the Gestapo the same day, and imprisoned at the Columbia concentration camp.

Clearly those Jews were embraced by the Nazi regime

  • I feel like a few years ago, "you are just insane" would work. In this post-factual period though, there is too many "just insane" people. I remember when disinformation was mostly harmless on the greater scale. It's not the case now.
