It appears that while content federates across instances, posts and their associated comment threads are tied to that instance. If the instance shuts down, that post is gone.
What content is there besides posts? Isn't federated content not only 'visible' from other instancez but also copied to there? Maybe you don't know either, i'm just figuring stuff out along the way.
In the Netherlands there is also a class-action lawsuit coming up, guess there is roughly the same amount of android users here. Maybe a bit more. Will be interesting to see how much lower that amount will be.
Agree, i never mind when any person who did evil things stands up when another person does something else evil. The more people calling the evil deed out the better.
As others said, you'll get by with just speaking English - if you're serious think of what would matter aside from language: a life in Italy will be very different than a life in German, not only the weather but also the work culture. Also think of which countries 'match' your education, being somewhere with loads of jobs in your expertise will make things a lot easier. I'd advise anyone able to move from US to Europe to take a leap of faith - if it doesn't work out and the US has by then returned to normal you can just move back and if it doesn't work out and america didn't return to normal you'll likely be happy at least you got out before it got real bad.
To give you one example, there where a few million protesting against all that happening. Not sure if that falls under national pride, but it sure is societal pride.
Before you know it there will be a Trump fan shop in every city, selling his parfume and other nonsense. Then they'll conquer the rest of the market: 'gold' side tables, 'gold' doormats, 'gold' bread knives, 'gold' salami, 'gold' olives, 'gold' potatoes, 'gold' paperclips, 'gold' sunglasses, 'gold' flip-flops, you name it. All with his head on it. And of course that signature 45-47 lettering. Super exclusive.
It's not really the religion though, basically all religions come with a set of believes in what is wrong and right and the hate-spewing war criminals will say it has to do with their religion, but they do not follow the believes set out by their religion. They are only using religion as a tool to gain power over the people that do follow the believes of that religion.
As if walking on grass in an emtpy park is comparable to driving a red light on a busy street.
