  • She’s gorgeous! So sorry about the leg but she’s got you roped in pretty good, so her plan ultimately worked. :)

  • The guy is straight up delusional. Not maybe. Not figuratively. Not ‘lets investigate’. He’s running-down-the-middle-of-the-street-naked-and-screaming-delusional. Right now.

  • He’s a savant at duping suckers tho, y’gotta give him that. Just a big roaring T-rex of bigly bullshit, and they fall over by the millions.

  • Aw maaaaan

  • I doubt it. ‘Assault’ is a specific crime and an accurate description. Football offense “assaults” the defense, does it not? That’s an example of the word as a description that is perfectly valid. They could have used it - and did in a way, as it’s already in the word “assailant” which they did use.

Headlines are 90% of the information people take away, and the excuse always given for bland, fascist-supporting wording is ‘well, they could be sued’.

There is a grain of truth in that, but applied to all print outlets over 50 years - no. It’s much, much more that they’re manipulating political reaction.

In this case “lunged” instead of “assaulted” because MAGAs must be coddled. I honestly don’t understand who The Guardian thinks they are. They're as progressive as NPR which is to say somewhere between “sort of” and “actively supporting the right-wing narrative”.

  • Oh he was. Metaphorically.

  • Brass knuckles! HAH!

  • Carter was nowhere near Reagan.

If “All US Presidents bad” then, ok.

  • “turned his back”? He was never, not even once, in danger of supporting workers.

  • “explains”

  • they have “assaulted” right there. In multiple places! But going with “lunged” i guess.

  • And sure, you could also create a new alias and migrate your sign-in preference to dodge the spam, but why should I have to restructure my whole frigging identity just because Microsoft can’t properly gate a push notification behind a password check?

    Why indeed.

Someone just said that out loud, on purpose, with no hint of irony or sarcasm.

  • Yes, I’ve always said if Ronnie was your literal neighbor, you’d probably have liked him.

Doesn’t change the point unfortunately. He still said and did all the evils.
