Negative. I am a meat popsicle.

  • When I was maybe 10, I was angry that my gift for Xmas from my grandparents was a stuffed white bear. It had a little red green scarf and hat combo. I hated it. My parents wouldnt let me throw it away. I used the scarf to hang the stupid thing in my closet, as if lynched. My parents subsequently freaked the fuck out.

In retrospect, there were definitely signs.

Next you'll try to tell me we can not create a full-grown adult with the pull of a lever.

  • I never noticed before, but ex-lax gives you smooth movements.

  • Cool. I blocked you, too, so I will not have to experience your toxic hate speech. Bye.

  • It is on lemmy, apparently.

  • Aight, this community is finally dead to me. Peace out.

  • I used mastodon a long time ago, before Lemmy. I never took to the style of microblogs. Twitter never did it for me either. The mastodon instance I used eventually died and I never bothered to find a new one.

  • the only code I would ever write is some hacky scripting.

  • Honeywell licenses their name for consumer products. They dont actually make that stuff anymore.

  • They sold the rights to make the magic wand about a decade ago. No longer Hitachi, alas.

  • hey, I am migrating my stash instance to docker this weekend.

  • It is my understanding that the newly formed Russian Federation assumed the debts and obligations of the Soviet Union. For example, Russia has the USSR's UN Security Council seat. In the case of these missiles, IIRC, they were operated by the Soviet SSR missile corps. Ukraine at the time had no ability to operate or maintain this stockpile.

  • Go re-read it and this time slowly so you maybe can understand.

  • That is false. You are spreading misinformation. The nukes were not especially useful (being ICBMS unable to target near neighbors), nor were the nukes really theirs to give away or keep. But do go ahead and read the actual Budapest Memorandum. It also grants no such guarantee. So you distort that as well.

The US should be helping Ukraine more, we dont need misinformation for there to be a moral imperative to help them now.

    edit:

To be quite clear who the bad guys here are...

One party to the Budapest Memorandum has directly violated it, Russia. China also likely violates it, given how much they help Russia. The US, on the other hand, has been providing aid to Ukraine, as have UK and France. Theyve sanctioned Russia.

How is it you pretend the ones helping Ukraine are the bad guys in this?

  • You may test that sausage at your convenience.

  • Oh fuck all the way off.

People mean the liberal international order (of western democracies) when they refer to "the West." It is a shorthand. If the phrase can't even come up without your toxicity, I'll just block you and remove the source of the annoyance.
