You're right! 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare) or my ISP's DNS seems to be weird. Works correctly with 9.9.9.9 (Quad9).
I like Voyager, it's essentially a web app though so it's a bit slower than native apps. A bit sluggish on my low end phone.For my low end phone I use Boost. It's proprietary and comes with google ads, so I use adaway/luckypatcher to disable them.
