wait.. masturbation consultant. How do you apply for that job and how do I fill in my immigration card when I travel, if I'm successful in my application? "professional wanker" ?
Not everyone is as lucky as we are to be in a position where we aren't struggling as much right now.
sure, the poor will always be with us though (Plato?) as in some will always be hard done by.
not the OP but near me (Australia) spending (inflation adjusted) is up, anecdotally cafes/restaurants around me are bursting to over flowing, new car sales are the highest they've ever been and and complaining is at an all-time high (the more content we are the more we complain, or so proposed some french dude whom i cant remember) in common with much of the developed world endless complaining about immigrants as well, especially from immigrants.
it can be difficult on line to sort the genuine in need from the complainers. eg house prices are too high in Australia screams everyone (they are), a slight decline is occurring and henny penny squawking about the end of the world fir housing now.
I'm older left leaning Gen X and i vote Green though.
sure but it turned into a huge tourist attraction. and the raised lots of money charging people to see it for charity. No one wanted to see the original, what is art ?
Spanish pensioner Cecilia Gimenez’s well-intentioned, but botched attempts to restore a 19th-century fresco of Jesus at her local church has proven surprisingly lucrative.
The “Ecce Homo” (Behold the Man) was re-christened “Ecce Mono” (Behold the Monkey) after the pensioner artist’s efforts rendered the image virtually unrecognisable, and drew ridicule from across the world.
But it has become a major tourist attraction raising much-needed funds for the local community.
Since news of the botched fresco made headlines a year ago the church has drawn more than 40,000 visitors and raised £43,000 (€50,000) for a local charity.
Mrs Gimenez, 81, and the local council are to share profits from merchandise featuring the image – and the pensioner is also due to have other artworks exhibited
what to buy ? something that's about the sane aize as a firesrick ? want to use a plug in USB thumb drive for media storage for travel and a "player" eg kodi. Dial home to Plex/JF not needed but internet access is
indeed, in the thread about a hospitals closure from Medicaid cuts and a few protestors outside with signs being cursed at by passers by that we yelling can't afford it
Apparently $400Million on a ballroom band tomahawks on Iran doesn't highlight there is plenty of money , its just not for you.
is true ... but alas every generation makes it worse.
Am Gen x, 30 years ago I assumed that when the old boomers died off things would be better as we took over. Now Im left watching horrified as Gen X just helps make it even worse and I hear Gen Z repeating the same inane missives my gen did at an early age.
It's the thing that moved me from a slightly right of center 20yr old to a left green supporter here in Australia at 58. More of the same stupidity won't do anything but make it worse.
We didn't start the Fire (boomer Joel song) might be true but we're making it worse by just pouring more fuel on said fire.
indeed and as someone else. pointed out, if they were in a Red states they'd be in the GOP. While all politicians like power, the ONLY reason these folks are there is for the power

Aren't their supposed to be Trump Battleships as well ?
