  • It's not a great movie, it's superb!

  • If it wasn't for a few f bombs the Blue Brothers could have been rated PG. And maybe the used condom joke at the very beginning.

  • A cigarette never chewed through the firewall on my car and filled the glovebox with acorns

  • I tried to stick out as long as I could, but we really have no choice anymore. I have a child with special needs and it's been a struggle to get him the services he is legally entitled to. Now without the Dept of Education things are only going to get worse.

I wish you well and hope you can get out soon.

  • I am moving out of Texas. Our house goes on the market in a couple of weeks and once it's sold we'll be heading to New England.

  • You should read the NOFX autobiography, the open line is...

The first time I drank piss was on a fire escape overlooking downtown Los Angeles.

  • A'd blame it on auto-correct, like, but a think it was just me proper dodgy spellin'! - my horrible attempt at a Geordie accent

  • Stole those from my sisters all the time to be Geordie

  • Sushi

My wife and daughter call her su or more commonly su-su

If she's in trouble then it's Sushi Maki Roll Our last name>

I call her Stink Butt because she takes the smelliest poops I've ever had the displeasure of smelling and then doesn't bury them in the litter.

  • Thanks and no. But funny enough my wife is a huge Shakespeare nerd. Like takes a beach vacation and just reads Shakespeare in a lounger to relax nerd. So it's fitting.

  • Today is my 17th wedding anniversary

  • Pulverized and set adrift as an interstellar cloud

  • I love the joke, and I also love her.

She is the sweetest person I've met at a convention. I was pretty starstruck meeting her, so of course my brain just turned off, and she was so kind and told me a couple of stories. When my brain finally rebooted, I asked her to sign the picture for my wife, and she came around the table to give me a hug telling me how sweet that was. She could have just signed a picture and sent me on my way. But her taking that extra 30 seconds or so gave me an experience I'll never forget.

  • I brushed my daughter's hair... FOR THE GLORY OF THE EMPIRE!

  • I have 6 programmable keys on my keyboard. I have macros for a few snippets that I have to type a lot and my email because my company has a stupid long name that I'm sick of typing out.

  • I'm sweating right now because I'm still waiting on one last 1099

  • Whirlwind - The Gits (recorded in 1993 released in 2000)

The Gits are one of the best bands to come out of Seattle in the early 90s. I feel like they could have been up there with the greats if their lead singer Mia Zapata wasn't murdered.

This song in particularl is a perfect example of how awesome they were. It has that early 90s Seattle grunge sound but with a more punk edge. They never officially recorded this song and this live recording wasn't officially released until 2000.

  • A company I worked for had a policy that if your laptop got stolen from your car, you would be required to pay for the replacement. So this was basically me whenever I had to travel for that job.

  • Full disclosure this is the first I've heard of this and only read the linked Wikipedia article.

With that said I don't think it was justified at all. Yes her parents sounded overbearing and abusive, but I don't think that condones them being murdered. She was 24 years old and had been working as a waitress to buy books and crap to make it look like she was going to school. All the while dating a guy who managed a restaurant and sold weed.

Why didn't she just leave and move out on her own? There were multiple other ways for her to get out of that situation yet she chose murder.
