China is already building their own AI accellerator hardware (I don't want to call something without video output a GPU)
They're building their own ecology of parts and standards and Nvidia isn't gonna be part of it. because the US restricted access, Nvidia didn't get to be the monoculture there, so they're building their own without them.
Horrifyingly, I just got done reading Surface Detail and there are huge datacenters that are low-energy, running slow in the grounds of a stately home.
Nice right?
Only issue is it runs the virtual environment for a different species VR Hell. Because it was outsourced here. Because they didn't like the icky situation of running their own hells.
you'd think they'd be able to do that considering most of them all use common bluetooth components.. it'd just require someone like qualcomm to go integrate an led driver and sensor and add a MEMS gyro. I'm willing to have chonky earbuds for better bass driver, I'd accept a few mm³ being allocated to a MEMS gyro/accel... I think you're right and now I'm mad with you.
Given the inexpensiveness of fitness bands to the point they're giveaway devices, I don't think we can really argue that there is similar material value between this device and say, the steamdeck controller, which is also coming out at that price point.
Everything is in docker containers because macos is contaminated.
And I'm not, its just the crayon-users like macos so I'm stuck with it. Its a tonka-toy OS I'm being subjected to and its infuriating. I don't know why these things are popular, the keyboards are heinous and the screens are smeary blurry over-driven messes.

Its lead by ASML by the looks of it, but a fat chunk of that could be nvidia. We don't know.
