  • I'm not sure?

  • 45 here, and it depends on the illness/injury. I don't get ill very often, can get over a cold in a week, still never had COVID (that I'm aware of, knock on wood). But God forbid I get any sort of scratch or cut anywhere on my body, it will always always get infected, always. Yes, I bathe regularly, wash my hands religiously, use anti-bac wound cream, cover the wound, etc, it ALWAYS gets red and itchy and irritated. That never used to happen to me in my 20s or 30s.

  • I told myself I wouldn't drink alcohol the night before I go to the gym the following morning, mostly because there's no way I could complete the workout if I was hungover. I got to the gym Tues, Thurs, Sun, so it keeps me sober at least 3 days out of the week and usually more (I have it down to drinking only 2 nights a week). So far I've stuck to my "deal", which is way better than where I was a year ago (drinking every night). Nobody in my life knows I struggle with this (I think they either wouldn't believe me because I'm "the good one" or would outright disown me because I'm so good at hiding it). It's really hard, but I manage.

  • Wash your chicken before cooking. Don't do this, it just spreads salmonella all over your sink.

  • I was 6 years old when Optimus Prime died for our sins.

  • I fuck up "insure/ensure" and "effect/affect" a lot.

  • I wasn't popular, but I could easily drift from one clique/group to the next and was generally accepted by all. I didn't get invited to hang out all the time, but enough times that I didn't feel like I was being excluded entirely.

  • I can snap with my left hand but not my right. I'm right-handed so in theory my right hand should have enough dexterity to do it?

  • Get a can of wasp/hornet killer with a long-range spray and spray it directly on the fallen fruits where the wasps are because fuck wasps. They aren't bees, they're not worth saving. Kill them all and let God sort them out.

  • I have a modded Valheim game where the only thing I do is cut trees and stack wood. The enemies cannot hurt me and I carried an axe over from another game, so the chopping happens pretty fast. It's very meditative for me because chopping trees is literally my favorite part of the game.

  • Mexican and Italian

  • Easiest way to do it is just not buy it, that's how I've been approaching it. Or if I do, I'll only buy on a Friday enough to last a weekend (1 bottle of wine or a 4-6pk of cider/beer/vodka seltzer for me), and that's it.

  • Alcohol, but I've cut back immensely in the past 4 years. Turns out you can't drink like you did in your 20s when you're in your 40s and expect to feel fine the next morning. I think I'm almost at the point where I'm gonna give it up entirely, or just have it on special occasions, because it's just not worth it anymore.

  • Never

  • Charging block/brick

  • I volunteered over the summer to track birds at a plot of local conservation land. Went out there at the crack of dawn with binoculars and everything. That's when I knew I was really getting old.

  • Horror scared me as a kid, and still scares me now, hence why I don't watch it or play horror-based video games.

  • My go-to is streaming playlists by Northernlion. Something about his voice is incredibly soothing. I think I've probably gone through his Rimworld playlists (both of them) at least 10 times over the years.
