  • I'm so sorry it had to be part of your life experience, but good on you for getting out of there!

  • Bosses that listen to their employees, take their issues, suggestions, and concerns into actual consideration, and who don't have ego/dick-swinging personality issues are the best bosses. Also, they don't yell unnecessarily.

  • Man, I didn't even wander off, I was looking at something and they were behind me, and when I turned around, they were gone. It was just a sea of adults and I was short so all I could see was people's legs lol

  • I have a Galaxy Fold 2, had it for 5 years, and just this month, something happened to the hinge and it no longer opens flat. I have no idea what caused it, nothing visibly wrong with it, it just stopped opening all the way. Now the inner screen protector is bubbling at the center because it won't open properly. I'm debating getting a new one, I really like it, it's like having a tablet in your pocket. But they are expensive as hell and I'm gonna be unemployed here pretty soon, so I'm not sure if I'll get another.

  • That's a good way to put it, I can definitely keep time. But yes, practice makes perfect!

  • HOLY CROSS and then you throw that shit

  • I've been in some scary situations, but I don't think anything has ever compared to the fear + PANIC feeling of getting separated and then lost from my parents inside a busy store when I was a child. I feel like I can handle fear and get ahold of it pretty quickly as an adult, even in dangeroussituations, but panic is an entirely different animal and as a kid you have zero reference for that kinda thing.

  • That's very impressive! We had a swing dance club in my high school and they always looked like they were having a good time. I think the closest thing I've done to dancing is marching in formation in the Army, which does take rhythm and coordination. But there's a certain "fluidness" to some people that my body just doesn't have.

  • I wish I had enough rhythm to dance, not like some amazing dancer, I'm talking even just a little bit. I dance like Elaine on Seinfeld.

  • Saaame. A sip of milk is like poison for me, 20 minutes later and I'm stuck in the bathroom for the next 4 hours.

  • This is the way

  • Sometimes I stumble upon a random song on Spotify that has a catchy tune, so I save it into a playlist but don't really listen to it until later, and in really hearing the lyrics for the first time, sometimes I'll be like waiting a sec...is this about Jesus/God?

  • 100% real. I'm not saying I'm a 10 by any means, but I can go from a 3 with no make-up and schlepping around in sweats and be utterly ignored by people in public, to probably a high 8 with my hair, make-up, and flattering clothes on, and I am immediately noticed and acknowledged. People hold doors for me, smile at me, stare at me. It's like night and day. But I say this as a woman, so I cannot speak to the male experience of this.

  • I've always been a fan of space aliens interacting with ancient civilization on Earth, like in Stargate the movie

  • I do, but I need something with a different texture to go with it, otherwise it's too slimy and gross. I'd never eat just cottage cheese straight up.

  • Before lactose intolerance set in, BBQ-flavored potato chips dipped in cottage cheese. Also Doritos dipped in cottage cheese. Absolute fire.

  • Silence, rain drops, crackling fire, a certain type of bird chirping outside (I'm not sure what kind of bird it is, maybe a Robin)
