i remember reading recently that it was discovered that a lot of studies regarding microplastics are likely wrong. because nitrile gloves used to operate in the laboratory gives off microplastics, so there is basically no uncontaminated samples.
so, always check your presumably "clean" samples too!
I'm pretty convinced that every animal can eat almost any food as long as they can have access to it. Like, dogs can eat bread and potatoes, just that they never manage to dig that up in nature.
the chicken are raised in a streamlined process sothat the land area usage is used to produce the maximum amount of birds
meanwhile wild birts are wildly inefficient with their food so eating 1 wild bird consumes waaay more land area than eating 1 industrially farmed bird.
well this is the consequence of a platform not having a downvote button. people think that having a downvote button causes controversies because now people can be angry at other people, but actually it allows people to downvote bad content to remove it from the algorithm without having to click + write a comment.
if the pictures were at least well done, but bruh it's depressing as shit to look at. no idea, no vision, if a photographer took these pictures i would fire them for having bad taste.
in feddit.org's case, the anubis loading screen displays for waaay too long. i've told the feddit.org admins repeatedly but got no response.
i'm not sure whether lemmy.dbzer0.com still uses it, but i think i remember seeing the loading screen there too. maybe they just reduced the loading time so much that i can't see it anymore.
i mean you can already put a link to your blog in your user profile on lemmy. in fact many people do it. (i don't do it myself because i don't have a good website to link to)
i voted against the ban btw
