it really took a turn when i was 32. i held my wife as she died of cancer then had to tell the kids. yep the world sucks and i do what i can to help my community. but at the end of the day .. I just got lots of healing to do for sure. thanks for your kind words. :)
what’s telling I suppose is that I fucking hope the end is near. i’m exhausted, depressed, sad, and generally realizing at 46 I am watching “peers” and family retire at 62, 64, 67, or 72 an then die a year later. While capitalism just eats up all it can of these people.

CEOs may not be the capitalists at the top of a particular food chain. The shareholding board is, for instance. They can be both but there are plenty of CEO level folks who could, with a properly convinced board, be replaced all nimbly bimbly and such.
in all dialectical seriousness, if it appeases the capitalists, it will happen. “first they came with ai for the help desk…” kind of logic here. some sort of confluence of Idiocracy and The Matrix will be the outcome.
that “free market capitalism” they think they have/had was worth it huh? pay workers more so you can find them locally, or if you cannot, close your farm. or fight to remove all borders (objectively a good thing) so you don’t have to worry about the made up an ever moving goalposts that is “immigration law.” or fight to remove capitalism and off a few burbs with one stone.
they’ve been meaningless since day 1; right away there needed to be “amendments” for instance. and depending on who is in power, more amendments come and go…
i mean we know he did it. we’ve seen the evidence and testimony. this fascist won’t fall because of these charges; he’s already a convicted felon and has been impeached before…
and sadly thanks to modern american marketing an distraction, this won’t inspire revolution either. :(
