I offer absurdist edits of absurdist Heathcliff comics, make food, post political memes.

  • Because they came from the wild. It's the space they know. They know where the food, water and shelter are. These aren't cute cuddly kittens. These are adult feral cats that will rip your face off. They can't be adopted. The alternative is euthanasia. So we put them back where we find them.

Unless we notice something weird. We caught one that wasn't coming out of sedation correctly. Very cold and twitching. We cuddled them up and kept them warm. We knew we weren't in danger because they were really not able to manage themself much less attack us.

They recovered and we kept them for observation for a few days. Dude was chill. We found that he had some kind of neurological issues. His back legs never worked correctly. We adopted him because there was no chance of him surviving in the wild. He was with us for just a couple of years before his kidneys failed.

But most cats, 99%, aren't chill. They will ram themselves against the trap. They will claw and bite you. Cats aren't domesticated. They are feral animals that with proper upbringing we trap in a kitten mentality. If they grow up without humans they will be the apex predators that will do everything possible to show you that they would rather die than give you control.

So yes. The wild. Because it's the best place for them.

How do we prevent this? Fix yo damn pets. Until everyone does that there is an army of volunteers putting them back where they found them but incapable of creating more cats and spreading rabies.

  • Given the edges on these things I'm thinking that the strings will break much faster if you used these. Which would be pretty punk rock but isn't great during a show.

  • There is a permanent record at the clinic but it will likely never be accessed by anyone ever because this cat's going to get released into the wild and no one's going to know its name to look it up. It will have no chip to scan. It's a feral cat that will live in the wild.

  • Check the olive section at your local grocery store and see if you can find some.

  • Jalapeno stuffed olives sliced up. Adding some much needed flavor and brininess to balance the meatballs.

  • If it's made with mozzarella and a tomato sauce, then it can't be a cheese crisp. That's a pizza.

  • If you put it directly on the oven rack, it's going to sag and droop. If you put it inside of a baking sheet, it's going to be harder to get it out with a pizza peel. Flip the thing over and you have a nice flat surface with no edges in the way.

  • Mit sauce

  • Naan pizza is a favorite of mine.

  • You definitely want to fold or roll it.

  • I tried reading this in Fonz's voice. I can almost hear it. Short declarative sentences.

  • Unless you can find a way to do it with phyllo dough. I do believe that this is the limit.

  • I'll allow it

  • That is way more accurate than I feel comfortable with. Thank you for discomforting me.

Alton Brown is all about food science. RFK Jr is all about anything but that.

  • It definitely helps to know a little bit of Spanish for that one.

  • This is going to be so exciting.

  • I am from the internet. I'm here to help.

  • It's good stuff but I haven't had any since I left Virginia Beach. There was a Peruvian place in Norfolk and some ceviche and marinated beef hearts was a good meal.

And if you asked what the staff was eating that day, sometimes they might have Salchipapa available. I'm in a good ethnic restaurant I always try to ask If there's something the staff gets to eat today that this isn't on the menu. Sometimes you get lucky and there's lengua tacos.

  • That's entirely possible but what I'm really expecting is a repeat of this from 6 months ago:
