  • Nano gave out its supply with centrally administered CAPTCHAs. That means they could have simply exempted insiders from having to do the CAPTCHAs at all, getting >51% of the supply for free. You're expecting everyone who ever uses that money supply to trust a central party for something we can't audit.

  • IMHO Franklin is one of the few who would go straight to "what is it?" without blinking.

  • The future doesn't belong to us. It belongs to AIs.

(Not claiming that LLMs are anywhere close to human-level AI)

  • This is an interesting economics problem. How can a p2p FOSS alternative compete with advertising revenue? The YouTube creators don't even get most of the money, so it wouldn't need to be perfect to be better.

  • It would be nice to maybe have a chance of seeing some of that money again, but the knowledge of what I'd fucked up would have a heavy mental burden of its own.

Obviously if it was me I surely would've pulled my coins out when the email addresses got leaked, because I'm such an unusually foresighted person.

  • I wish I was a greater fool in 2010.

  • They can't sell them!

  • One or two school shooters would keep the ICE agents out of the building.

  • To be fair, recall how microscopic TVs used to be not so long ago.

  • I'd assume it nags whenever it can't connect to the home server, and just says "network".

So when they go out of business any remaining units will nag forever.

  • To be fair Boomers didn't create this economic policy. Their parents elected Nixon, who broke the Bretton Woods agreement "temporarily", and then we adopted Keynesian macroeconomic policy afterwards to justify it.

Inb4 someone regurgitates a defense of this "boomer" policy and proves that it's not just them and never was. It's always been the rich and their loyal servants.

  • We should only support neurodivergent learning styles. The neurotypical kids can just conform or end up in prison; they're not worth the tax dollars to accommodate, sorry. It's simply not cost effective, we'll have to leave them behind.

    Not voting: 0

    Voting MAGA: -1

  • "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."

Schumer isn't stupid. Are his Blue No Matter Who voters?

  • Nitpick: if it's criminal then it's tax evasion, not tax avoidance.

  • To do that, we'll need to split off from the federal banks.

  • We really should've abolished that.
