  • Vote no on literally everything, shut it all down.

  • People like you are easily placated by insincere token gestures.

  • Not if they can appeal all the way to the Supreme Court.

  • The problem here is selection bias.

    Do nothing? This guard.

People start peeing on them? Piss fetish guards.

    Same gender inspections? Homosexual guards.

The only people who win are the actual perverts.

  • You've given false testimony?

Your doctor isn't trying to offer the best service. They're avoiding liability in a situation where they're already getting paid, and senseless misery isn't considered "harm".

I'd ask up front if they'd be willing to prescribe medication if I didn't expect them to write "drug seeking" in their secret libel notes.

  • "The fact is, that civilization requires slaves. The Greeks were quite right there. Unless there are slaves to do the ugly, horrible, uninteresting work, culture and contemplation become almost impossible. Human slavery is wrong, insecure, and demoralizing. On mechanical slavery, on the slavery of the machine, the future of the world depends."

  • IMHO not voting isn't insane, it's just selfish. The country is run by people idealistic enough to vote for free - either altruism or spite.

  • Honestly as an American that sounds good for everyone. America has long used its position to strengthen intellectual property at the expense of personal property, and to impose monetary policy that enriches the 1%.

Things have been bad for a long time and need to change.

  • Don't read the article; a terrible person agrees with you.
