Just point a webcam at the screen of the computer, OCR the text, feed that to an LLM, and have it type via a KVM. Limit the typing speed to human level typing. I bet there are farms in French Guiana and similar places where they do exactly this.
The secret is that the laws are all bullshit, intended to control the average person, not because anyone in power actually cares about the violations themselves.
Just think of all the predatory letters sent to ISPs because some kid downloaded the Avengers movie off a piracy website. And at the same time companies like Google have the balls to sell access to models that stole…literally everything in digital existence.
One thing I haven’t understood with BD is why they haven’t thrown tremendous amounts of computing horsepower behind ONE humanoid robot to make it almost human, just to show it’s possible, then to slowly eat away at the costs. Just like has been done with AI and datacenters. BD robots are cool but clearly not at all intelligent so they’ve been stuck in this zombie state for decades now.
I think the newer robots companies actually might try to have humanoid robots powered by massive AI datacenters and make them “intelligent.” That’s the approach at least.
How did they know me and my wife’s safe word?!
