  • I recommend living your life without that man infecting every facet of it. It's an article about cats. Just let it be about cats.

  • Nope.

  • Yes, they can. That's the problem with it being an option.

  • The point is that it can't be the answer if it's an option.

  • You can just say "I don't understand probability (or the word 'if')" next time and save a whole bunch of effort.

  • Eh, it's just redefining the assumed meaning. "Intangible" does mean "unstoppable" in a way, but that's not really what's intended.

  • He gets 51% if it's commercial in any way?? What a fucking scam. I thought Moby was cool for a second.

  • The grokability is high.

  • I'd say Terraria is more of an RPG than either of the other two, if that matters. Boss fights, gear progression, etc. It's amazing, but it's not quite the same. There is still a lot of building creativity space, though, if that's your jam.

  • Fallen into several arguments in Lemmy about exactly that. People give it way too much credence to what is functionally a eugenicist's nightmare. I have no hard feelings at Mike Judge or even the movie really, but it's fiction, not a warning from the future. Honestly, people need to stop treating fiction as documentary evidence in general. At best it's interesting thought experiments, not something one should base their world view on.

  • No offense taken by me, no worries. Quebec is a very French province of Canada, so not being allowed to say "French fries" felt fitting, hah.

  • I've apparently offended the entire territory of Quebec with my question, so maybe that's appropriate XD

  • Do whatever you want. I'm not saying this is how everybody should speak - it's my decision for myself. Not sure why you're treating it like an attack on society.

  • I'm not really too worried about being understood, just working on it for myself. And honestly, I think anything could be said in a certain way and be understood as a curse/outburst. Borrowing from different languages is a good idea, though!

  • "Fudged" in the body wasn't a swear replacement. I was using the word as a word.

  • Oh, I do. Shit, fuck, ass, etc. No problem with those, just don't like religion hogging up neural pathways.

  • Wittle baby doesn't want the meany-weany comedian to hurt is fee-fees while he destroys the country.

  • Thanks for the tldr, but my comment still stands.
