  • Surprise surprise a neo nazi does nazi things.

  • How is he still alive lmao

  • The outlet noted that other speakers at the summit included “a Belgian fascist convicted of Holocaust denial, the founder of a Swiss neo-Nazi group called “Junge Tat,” and Martin Sellner, an Austrian extremist who promotes “great replacement theory,” a debunked white nationalist conspiracy theory that a cabal of rich Jewish people wants to “replace” white Americans and Westerners with non-white immigrants and people of color (especially Black people and Muslims) to fundamentally change the racial makeup and political culture of different nations.

The article didnt exaggerate - these are straight up neo nazis.

In an interview with a far-right website ahead of the summit, Bovino called Nazi Germany’s lead general Erwin Rommel an inspirational figure,

Wow - could this be any clearer?

  • Generally it would be true but Valve seems like an exception. Steam is still like 10 years ahead of every other shop front or console.

  • LibreWolf is great!

When I said competitive I meant in sense of mass of users. It's easy to ignore 10 LibreWolf users who can't connect to your website due to Cloudflare spyware but much harder to ignore 10,000 Brave users.

  • Brave does a lot of great things, actually.

I work in anti-fraud and it's really the only browser that at least tries to resist fingerprinting. Every other browser either refuses to protect its users (Chrome, Firefox) or has no market share to contest against privacy invasion (i.e. you'll get infinite captchas) so Brave is doing a lot of good things despite the problematic relationship with crypto.

You can also get Brave Origin which has all the crypto and AI stuff removed.

That being said even Brave didn't have enough mass to fully protect against fingerprinting and sadly removed their "strict mode" year or two ago due to constant cloudflare/captcha breaks. The standard mode is still lightyears ahead of chrome and firefox though.

  • The next president can just reverse it though

  • People are delusional in believing this will actually happen and it just makes everyone passive and have inverse effect we want for just and fair society. So maybe stop waiting and start doing.

  • It has nothing to do with language. She's just dumb like that and I wouldn't be surprised she can't speak decent Slovenian either. You can just feel the vapidness radiate from her.

  • I'd like to see discovery on that lawsuit so yeah let's go: Melania Trump is a prostitute and a whore.

  • She still can barely speak english - who on earth would doubt the fact that she's just a dumb hoe sold to trump?

  • What doss that have to do with what I said? Plagiarism doesn't exist, it's a social construct that we made up entirely to protect information "theft" but since information cannot be stolen the entire premise is not sound.

  • You may have a good point here that changed my opinion on datacenter opposition. We definitely need more datacenter compute and always will but maybe making it more difficult can shift the market towards on device compute or smaller servers so opposing datacenters can be a net good outcome.

  • Wing foiling - it's when you use a foil board with a giant handheld kite:

The feeling is incredible and even better than e-foiling (battery powered foil) when you lock in. However it's still expensive where decent entry set is 2k usd at least and that will take you several tough sessions just to get up. After that the prices just sky rocket and some high end wings (the parts that are underwater and lift the board) can cost thousands of dollars and you probably want multiple for various conditions.

The main issue is really the perfect condition chasing. Ideally you want strong 5-10 knot wind at least with nice weather out which surprisingly is hard to get unless you live in places that have these perfect conditions. I highly recommend Hua Hin in Thailand if anyone wants to give this a shot!

  • Isn't it's silly how liberal people fall into a conservative trap here? We should be able to figure out AI. That's what being a liberal is all about - believing that we can steer advancement to benefit of all.

  • It's a tool, use it as you wish but you either have it or not.

  • Why is plagiarism bad? Aren't you a bit of a bootlicker here for enforcing anti sharing constructs now? Nobody owns information, period.

  • It's comparing apples to oranges.

AI is software. We never stopped any software change before. Even heavily disliked and banned systems like crypto currency or vpns etc. still exist.

For the record I agree that AI needs more regulation and we could even force stop development of new models but LLMs will never be stopped in any meaningful way. You can take an open source model and run it today.

LLMs are here to stay until it's replaced by other technology.
