  • That can be just your DNS server having it cached. The servers behind it still exist

  • No it spiked due to tether printing money. As always

  • The rare case where metal and programming collide directly.

Surprised this is not getting more upvoted.

  • I don't quite remember Moe being quite so...buff! 😅

  • These scaremongering tactics are exactly the same type they use to brainwash Fox news watchers. Don't do the same. A shotgun while you cower in your bedroom won't help you. Organizing with your fellow workers and community will.

  • Ye like that

  • Being illegal means you can't have humane and stressless suicide devices available to market. Instead one has to rely on tools which are uncertain, or cause you too much stress at the end of your life. And at the same time you have to dodge the state, so you can't just announce it and spend your last hours with your loved ones.

  • This approach was developed precicely for threaded fediverse. The initial use-case was protecting my own lemmy from CSAM! Check out fedi-safety and pictrs-safety

  • Ye, a normal VPS would be too slow for production use, as a GPU is recommended. But you can plug in any home PC to do it without risks

  • IFTAS is already working with Thorn towards this goal. But you already have access to such technology through my toolset.

  • I think the point the OP is (badly) trying to make is that lemmy.cafe is blocking leftists instances while federating with reactionary instances (such as exploding heads and others) and pedophilic instances. So people suggesting lemmy.cafe as a way to escape the "tankie influence" are pushing people to have visibility on bigotry and CSAM instead.

Note that I haven't checked the federation list of lemmy.cafe. I am just explaining how I understand the meme.

  • Image processing libraries are used at the forefront of almost all web services, including lemmy and are extraordinarily robust. I really don't have the time to go at this in depth, but if you are familiar with this stuff you will know how extraordinary such an exploit would be and its existence would be causing massive chaos all over the world.

  • It's the earliest AI technology striving to expose unreported CSAM at scale.

horde-safety has been out for a year now. Just saying... It's not a trained AI model in this way, but it's still using Neural Networks (i.e. "AI Technology")
