  • A 4x4 truck with its big wheels and high ground clearance are features that allow the truck to move off-road. These features have the unfortunate side effect of making them dangerous to other road users, and very uneconomical / environmentally unfriendly. They also take up a lot of space.

Work vans and most cars are capable of driving on a building site or track.

  • I think he's possibly talking at the UN or some security council as they plaque in front of him says "United States", at a guess that wouldn't be necessary in front of Congress. I might be wrong though, I'm not from the US.

  • I think that's a little incorrect. The Fleet Air Arm falls under the Royal Navy.

    • 1914 (As the Royal Naval Air Service)
    • 1924 (as the naval branch of the Royal Air Force)
    • 1937 (as part of Naval Service)

In 1938, Admiralty Fleet Orders 2885 announced the formation of an Air Branch of the Royal Naval Reserve.

As of 1 December 2013, the Regular Fleet Air Arm has a reported strength of 5,000 personnel,[23] which represents approximately 20% of the Royal Navy's total strength (excluding Royal Marines).

Though it seems that they have merged and split since original inception of the Royal Flying Corp and Royal Navy Air Service

  • “He gave his speech and then immediately left. I wrote ‘Can I get picture?’ on my phone screen using Snapchat text like people do at concerts, and I know that he read it as he looked at me several times during his speech. I was at the front of the line. He didn’t even stay to personally hand the watches to the top four people that paid eight figures to get that rank.”
