  • Ya that's a fair assumption.

  • No you can't. If the glasses are blurring faces then the glasses can be hacked and this removed. False sense of security. There's lots of things you can do without faces too. Location/gate analysis, everyone in a database, thousands of smart glasses user, etc etc, it's a surveillance states wet dream.

  • A what?

  • Does it actually do anything though or is or placebo

  • Now you will like everything

  • Oxymoron of the century.

  • I think I'm surprised they had that many employees

  • Weird. I think the last time I tried was circa 2020 iPhone xr and yes, I always use Firefox focus if available. Don't recall it blocking YouTube ads ornahving addon capabilities.

    Androids always been more flexible.

  • Totally fair

  • Yeah me too lol. I'm also old enough to say back in the day for OG doom too...

  • Last I used iPhone it was simply not possible to block ads. Super annoying.

  • If I lived in the states and was worried about ice my phone would stay at home. I wouldn't drive, I'd maybe call a taxi or use an ebike or something and wear hats/hoods. No gate analysis on a bike rider. No radios beeming off me to track me.

But then again, that's just not really living, is it?

  • You can use an android phone and block all the ads. This is what deterred me from iPhone last time. Greyjay, pipepipe, etc. No ads. Plus uBlock for Firefox. Among other huge advantages.

  • Doesn't work for all but at least for a time firewall blocking of ads worked

  • Ya fuck those people, I watch all my ads!

  • If I saw that I just close the tab and move on with my life. Lol.

  • I'm certain this is false. Forgot to install uBlock on a new machine? Use someone else's computer? See a billboard sign? And if you're old enough, cable TV? Sometimes ads are disguised as regular content too. IE burnout paradise city with real ads on billboards. Sports games. Amazon prime is always tweaking shit too, definitely got stopped by a mid show ad a couple times.
