  • I may smoke a joint or a bong head, but definitely not a cigarette.

  • The difference between you and the described "fool" is, that you are not inherently proud of your nation, but more like what you as a nation have accomplished (at least that's what I interpreted from your words). The patriotic fool on the other hand is proud of much more stupid things he had nothing to do with. He takes pride in his language, the culture, his own town simply because he was born into it. The fool wants to stop all influences from outside, that may change the thing he takes pride in. He sees the world as a constant static structure that evolved and that should not be changed, ignoring that constant change just made things like culture the way they are.

You on the other hand said, that you take pride for your nation having a high standard of living, a good social system and such stuff. All of these have been earned through constant fight and you can be proud of winning this fight. You are also able to see flaws in the current system and want stuff to change.

  • What people also regularly forget is how insanely inefficient AI is. We need exponential amounts of energy for linear increasement in "AI power" (idk what's the correct term). So to gain twice the power we need 4x the amount of energy to achieve this. Since we are not anywhere near being close to "super intelligence" AI would hit its limit in how much energy we can provide before it even coming close.

  • Show cat

  • This moment when you have seen certain xkcds enough times, that you know wi ch one its going to be without even having to take a look at it.

  • Well technically its still electricity created by the sun. Plants absorbed Carbon dioxide, turned it into carbon with the power of the sun, died and got buried deep below.

  • I search by genres or artists. This means, that I usually hop on YouTube, and start looking if any of the artists I like released new stuff and if I come across a new one I look what stuff they have that I like.

  • Based

  • Would also be willing to help translate the UI.

  • illegally gaining access to a computer system

This is also The legal Definition applied in Germany (with the only difference being, that in Germany it is "gaining access to a system not meant to be accessed). The problem with this is, that everyone who finds security breaches is at threat to be punished for it, even if they ethically disclose it. There have been various cases of ethical hackers receiving fines for disclosing security vulnerabilities.

  • You definitely did

  • If you're into automation and only want to play with your friends you could consider Factorio or satisfactory

  • Lmao

  • Yeah, that's why I put it in "" to make sure its not really denying it.

  • The patients sexual orientation does in fact have no influence on their health. The only groups out of the LGBTQIA+ spectrum where you have some "right to deny" healthcare may be trans and intersex people due to them having special conditions and you might not have the knowledge to treat them accordingly. For the rest you are just batshit stupid if you care that much about what people do in their private time.

  • Ah, we finally have the tolerance paradox again. Tolerating intolerance does not increase the total amount of tolerance. If someone breaks the social contract to tolerate everyone he can not plead himself on the contract, because he broke the contract first.

  • "Your right to swing your fist ends where the nose of someone else begins"

You can say what ever the fuck you want, as long as you dont hurt someone else doing so.

  • Well yes, but no. The older generations (millenials) do this but Gen-Z does not really knowhow to use a computer and often enough doesn't want to use one. This problem will probably become even worse with the even younger generations.

  • Do you use different harddrives for your partitions? Because that might be the reason you dont have that much problems. From what I heard windows likes to wipe all boot entries that aren't windows and are located on the same drive.
