  • Yay -S sudo-science-binPACKAGE NOT FOUND

Well boys, it was worth a shot. Smile and wave, smile and wave.

  • EndeavorOS provides a GUI installer with what’s considered “sensible” add-ons included. It’s where I am now. I started with Mint, played with Debian some, now “Arch”-ish.

    It’s been good to me.

  • Don’t stall.

  • Thanks for sharing the reasons for your approach.

There’s so many ways to accomplish this, such as ad guard or portmaster then add on the drivers for our choices. Finding the balance between privacy and easy of use is tough as it is. Then add in the rest of the family that’s more interested in things “just working”.

  • I played with a pi-hole setup for a bit. It was nice. I got distracted and set up NextDNS. That’s where I am now.

I like I can easily turn it on/off when I just need to do something and no time to fuss with it.

I’ve got a home server, just not fully setup and going yet, but someday…

Any thoughts on why I might do pi-hole over something like NextDNS? I think the cost is roughly $1/mo.

  • Per the article, the family farmers got a 1.25c per dozen increase 6 years ago.

  • Change your world not others. Ask yourself why is your happiness based on feedback from what others think of what you do? It’s terse, but “fuck ’em”. Did you do something to better the world, your life, the life of a random passing bug? If so, that’s a net gain in the world. Take the small wins.

Be moral. Be good. Find what makes you happy no matter what the rest of the world thinks.

Find peace and/in contentment. Realize that happy can be a euphoric high that’s not a constant, but a momentary state.

  • Seems the expectation is the corporation holds all the power. This customer was “fired” for views not in alignment with the company. There would also be no regard for damages to the customer as in their perspective the customers’ data has no value unless it’s something to harvested and sold.

  • So, by extension, I could take money from the government (or really anyone) because it’s not property? If money is not property and not “owned” by someone wouldn’t that drive the population to abandon the “fiction” of a fiat currency?

Maybe, it doesn’t matter the outcome, the objective is to stall and stifle the defendant’s resources.

  • It might be that I’m looking at this from a US perspective. Craig’s list has been a bit rough when I’ve tried it. Scammy and shadier people. I hope you’ve had better experiences here than me.

I found cash converters out of the UK. Is that correct? It seemed comparable to a pawn shop at first glance.

  • Ok, I feel old. The only reason facebook has any relevance to me is the market place. What’s the best alternative?
