  • Worth playing. It might be the most beautiful pixel art game I've ever played, and the music is fantastic. Just don't expect any groundbreaking RPG mechanics. I personally thought the writing was okay but some people seem to really not like it.

  • Get a PSP emulator like PPSSPP and play the original Puzzle Quest. Such an awesome RPG-ified match 3 game, never found a game like it. (Gems of War is a decent enshittified version of it though if you want more.)

  • good. hopefully this will improve the quality for the first time in 14 years or so. Monetization is essentially synonymous with enshittification. Less monetization -> less enshittification. Less need to put stupid red arrows and bug eyes on your thumbnails. etc. I don't even care if youtube is just straight taking all the difference. Anything to decrease the number of people who are in it for the money is good.
