  • "defeat." I think you mean "realize their evil ambitions."

  • All you have to do is use your brain to figure out 18km of mountainous terrain is going to take longer than 5 hours.

  • By that logic you wouldn't mind if I loosed a bag of mosquitos in your house, would you?

  • There are good number of us with this sentiment who never had kids and never will.

  • At a certain point, it becomes an accessibility aide to prevent arthritic pain and RSI.

  • I think things are slowly trending toward what you describe, but I don't see war being over for a long time. Especially if global warming causes famine and such

  • Dumbass

  • Wildfires hitting a specific area is also just rare. I grew up in a wildfire-prone area and we only got significant smoke once. So not remembering any doesn't really say anything meaningful necessarily.

  • mbti

  • Yes, but we still don't know its bulk properties.

  • Good luck finding enough Astatine to lick. It's the rarest naturally-occurring element on earth. It's estimated there is less than 30 grams in earth's crust at any given time.

  • The amount of legitimate software that's just batch scripts is pretty amusing. I always make sure to read and understand what it's doing in that case, though

  • This is what passes for journalism these days? Fuck off

  • I'm not so sure about that. Kids need access to PCs in order to gain tech skills and they're trying hard to take that away.

  • The last thing they said. I'll never have to say "What?" 4 times in a row again.
