  • Me: Did ya get my joke? Huh? Huh?

    Them: Yes, chuckleslord

Me: Cool, could you explain it to me, then?

  • Yes. My graduating year had a lot of tragedy occur, so we were all really tight knit (even with standard teenage drama). It was good fun catching up.

  • Bruv, misogyny is a bad look, man.

  • I don't give a fuck what the Cato Institute finds. They can shut the fuck up and get back to gargling Newt Gingrich's balls while he's still breathing.

  • Yes, they wouldn't use an incorrect word. But look at NBC coverage of the tea party pushing the GOP rightward.

Not a single use of the word insurgent, even though it also makes sense to do so here.

  • I was born in the 90s and I recognize this image. Though it was the lady who had the daycare doing it, but still

  • Lol, you think this is a team sports thing. It's a resentful human thing, which is mostly just a human thing

  • Parent companies shouldn't be a thing

I think stopping there is best. We don't need companies buying other companies, full stop.

  • Not really. It was brought up as a concern, number crunching occurred, and it was seen as incredibly unlikely, borderline impossible outcome. I guess talking about the possibility is interesting in-and-of itself, but there really wasn't a concern.

  • Yeah, but no. The collection bag is usually beneath the donor, so that it collects faster. Unless there's a machine to assist (like in collecting plasma, platelets, or double red donations)

  • Unless you're doing some filtered retrieval (like double red donation) you'd be correct. Usually the blood bag is below the patient to assist with the filling.

Anything using a machine, though, it doesn't matter where the final bag is for collection.

  • Dragon Ball Z Abridged opens with that line from the farmer as Raditz crashes into his farm

  • "My marijuana patch!"

  • ... cosmetic surgeons are still medical doctors, so they have the same insane schooling/residency requirements as everyone else. Plus, they have a purpose in a hospital in helping to plan surgeries to reduce the appearance of scars. It's not just vanity, my dude.

Chiropractor, though, that's a "medical" field that has no actual resemblance to medicine or the massive debt burden therein. Plus, they're a joke to begin with. Much better punchline.

  • Well... it'll make your total a NaN as well.

  • Nah, that would make it hella dangerous to just be a person existing in that space. Much safer to use trains to get to a city and then travel in the city by personal conveyance, like a bike or something. Imagine how awful life would be if we gave all that space to train tracks just for individual use. It would be an isolated, lonely nightmare. Not to mention super expensive too. Train engines, no matter how small, are not cheap to own or operate.

  • Include SUVs in your computation and rerun the numbers. Yes, the big fuck off trucks are still a minority, but they push everything bigger the bigger they get. And bigger is the only thing they're getting.

I drive a MINI, bought it in 2018. Then, I was comfortably in the majority of car sizes (new minis are comfortable hatchbacks). Now, there's maybe 10% of cars that I'm comparable to, everything else has windows with bottoms that are at or above my roofline.
