BTRFS and ZFS support real deduplication via copy on write, and would eliminate all current disadvantages of symlink and hardlink deduplication. It just works.
Why have it be one huge python source file? This is a serious code smell imo, and something you really should avoid doing as this can be a major maintenance burden.
Machines will be fine with just one primary DNS server. The main reason for running two is so that you still have one working DNS server if either machine goes down, for example during maintenance.
Whether you automate pihole upgrades is separate from whether you automate debian package updates. I recommend at least automatically installing security updates for the OS, unless you want to manually keep track and do this for all your devices.
I agree. I absolutely hate when some pesky git hook rejects some debug code I wrote that I want to commit. Mind you, commit, not integrate. This is the situation where I whip out git commit -n.
I'm rather confused. I don't have any app called Gemini installed, but despite this "Hey Google" brings up Gemini. So I have no app to disable, and no way to turn off interaction with other apps. This is on a Samsung A55 in Europe, happily taking advice on how to proceed.
