Whenever I read about the inavailability of lethal injection drugs it reassures me that my anxiety over dying from general anesthesia must by way overblown.
In the U.S. sleet bounces off the windshield instead. I think we’d call Canadian sleet wet snow. OP said we’d call it “wintry mix” which maybe some of us would but I always thought “wintry mix” was when you were on the line between snow and rain and you just got a bit of everything; snow, sleet, slush, freezing rain, etc…
I didn’t know it required a freeze-thaw-freeze cycle either. I’d always been under the impression it was just rain that froze before hitting the ground.
Don’t sleep on this other gem of a comment they made:
"For months, radical progressive politicians like Tim Walz have incited violence against law enforcement officers who are simply trying to do their jobs. Unsurprisingly, these calls to dangerously interject oneself into legitimate law-enforcement activities have ended in violence, tragically resulting in injuries and fatalities," wrote the NRA
This is why all these departments and agencies have policies. So they can get convictions. The Trump admin thinks they can just change a policy (e.g. ICE’s new policy to disregard the 4th amendment) and that changes the law. In reality it’s just going to waste a lot of time in court and put folks (ON bOtH sIDEs) in danger.
Minnesota National Guard members "are not deployed to city streets at this time, but are ready to help support public safety, including protection of life, preservation of property and supporting the rights of all who assemble peacefully," officials said in the post.
Are you fucking kidding me lady?
