  • Costco is publicly traded, anybody can buy their stock. Blackrock owning it should be irrelevant to public opinion of the company.

  • I actually do sometimes depending what it is. For instance I'm low on kosher salt and we cook a ton so we only get it at Costco, I'm gonna stop by later this week for a box.

  • Yeah, gooey liquids

  • I've never met a syrup that wasn't gooey.

  • Alton Brown's new show is hitting just like I needed it to.

  • 100 percent. There's too much potential food for a food channel to ever run dry of content. Only personalities and gimmicks run their course.

  • Joshua Weissman, he used to have some good cooking content but it got too brain rotted for me.

Similarly I almost dropped Binging with Babish, but he started a new channel for his non-BWB content and actually put up a classic-style video recently!

  • I love when people comment "they don't make music like this anymore" because they most certainly do, and are probably making more of it than any point in history.

  • Captain Picard (season 1-2): I would rather sacrifice literally my entire ship and crew than contaminate the natural development of this world.

Captain Archer: lol I'm going down there and bringing my dog with me

  • At least gerrymandering doesn't matter for Senate races.

  • I'd rather people do the right thing for the wrong reason than not at all.

  • -All progressives since 2024

  • You know exactly why.

  • That conditional is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

  • Those bullets have to land somewhere. Use a hacksaw instead.

  • Because the complexity of the music has grown so much, both in its production and performance.

Fun fact, this was one of the reasons the Beatles quit touring. Their music was growing so complex that the technology didn't really exist to recreate it in a concert setting.

  • Look at election results since November 2024 and you'll see it.
