  • Are you trying with the correct db user? Try connecting to image with the root user for MariaDB and create a new user with permissions. I’ve had to do similar things with Postgres, connecting with the user psql with success.

  • I've used Postman et al. but I often default to PowerShell (because Windows) and a text file. It gives me everything I need from Postman without having to install or learn new tools.

    Curl is nice but I miss the object orientation in my shell when I use *sh.

More in the lines of whataboutism?You want to discuss something and other people (often men in the case of feminism, again, in my experience), tries to whataboutism their counterpart (for example a femenist) to make their counterparts arguments invalid in some way.

    I agree with you on this, but we don't now the constraints of OP. Perhaps the mentioned clients need access. Ask instead of assume.

    I have no problem with other people's level of knowledge, be it greater or lesser than mine. I have a problem with how you conveyed your message. Here is how you could have phrased it instead, as an example of what I meant with "be nicer".

    Learn the command line, it will more than likley be of great help in the future. Better now than never.
