What next, are you going to warn me that if I order lemonade I'll get something both sweet and sour?
Sure when I was younger I only liked pert breasts, but in my 30s I like the bodies of women my age (and a fair bit older tbh), sags, stretch marks, veins, and all
I generally agree, especially if you could get like naan burritos. Something quick and easy to make
Similarly in ohio and a few other places there's a place called piada which basically is Chipotle but Italian food and I miss it so much. It's such good fast casual
Tbh if I didn't hate the man I'd like the bathroom.
But yeah I feel that public buildings should use American materials. Really they should prioritize materials within their jurisdiction, and where it's not possible as close to the level of jurisdiction as possible, including continent level. That means if we don't have it then we should check if canada or Mexico do. And I'm not saying to use the gray granite that my link included, we can bypass for concerns of beauty and practicality, but there's beautiful stone in America. And in general I feel it adds to the local identity to use materials from there. New Mexico, Vermont, and Minnesota shouldn't have state houses that look the same.
Exceptions of course for gifts, like, actual gifts, not grift gifts. The statue of liberty being french bronze is great, it remains a symbol of the fact that they used to like us back in the day.
Oh dang, good on you chaplaining for pagan prisoners. And yeah the connection to earth through paganism has had a huge positive effect on me. I've also found that celebrating the solstices, equinoxes, and midway points has done wonders for me feeling in tune with life itself.
I had the door for Christianity, but I have no desire to leave my paganism even if I wish it was easier to find community that I felt like I fit in properly with with it.
That was around the age I found paganism by doing acid. So complicated and changing. I didn't join any groups about it or anything though.
I was raised catholic and was deeply invested until I left over a variety of grievances around 20 and spent some years agnostic before entheogens brought me to my current beliefs by way of pantheism
And yeah in my 30s I'm considering looking for a religious community that fits well with the fact that I'm quite happy with my beliefs on the divine
Personally I find 500F works fine but I don't have a pizza stone or one of those big wooden spatulas to use it with a floppy fresh pizza. I just assemble mine in a room temperature cast iron pan and then throw it in for 10 or so minutes at 500
