those are/could be browsing extensions. i don't see why the browser should integrate ad blocking when it could just be an extension (that could be installed by default, like how librewolf has ublock origin installed by default).
You can download mp3s off of YouTube Music using yt-dlp or even ytmdl, this is what I do, though I don't care about syncing across devices or good audio quality.

Uh, I know how to use BeepBox (nice for making music for my games) and I just started learning to use Strudel, does that count? I have a piano (keyboard) but I don't really release music I just make it sometimes when I'm bored. I guess that counts as amateur musician
