  • Honestly, if Primer had any, I'm to dumb to spot them.

  • I'll just leave this here.

  • I can totally relate. I went and built a NAS then installed Proxmox on it to then create a VM for TrueNAS in which i then created a docker for Nextclound. Then I installed Arch on a different VM and used Nextcloud sync so I can have access to my files on my laptop that also runs Arch. Humblebrag over, I apologize for trying to relate to a windows user.

  • Dude Navidrome is so great. I hooked my my decades worth of music collection up to it and now I can stream b-side tracks and indie bands that weren't on Spotify. Plus when I hit random I know it's actually random and not some algo to sell the newest slop that Spotify is pushing.

  • THIS. IS. MY. LAST. RESORT.

  • "Ontology is the study of being." That's not a sentence fragment, that's the whole thing. Being what, you might ask? Just, being.

  • Hey thanks for that. I do like hackernews and ars technica. And I already selfhost a bunch of other stuff. So I guess I found what I'm going to setup next. In the past whenever I've looked into RSS I've found some sites go out of their way to try to stop it.

For example here's a site I'd like to get the feed for featured reviews: https://rateyourmusic.com/

Short of scraping it with python beautiful soup I don't see an easy way to get the feed.

  • Any good feeds you recommend?

  • The face of James Earl Jones! Jk, that is a fun fact I'm stealing for next time I watch a clockwork orange

  • A stable diffusion plug-in or something to export 3d models for blender would be awesome. I've been waiting for something like that.

  • Funny you should mention that, I just installed the stremio combo webui/server docker last night. After I got it hooked up to real debride it works surprisingly well. I do have a dedicated GPU. I was looking for something like Kodi in a webui, but I wanted to use debride and I found this app.

I'm now trying to shoehorn in IPTV and an EPG just to see if I can

  • If there's going to be a civil war, I'm on the side with legal weed.

  • I noticed my feed almost immediately changed after Trump was elected. I didn't change my viewing habits. I'm positive YouTube tweaked the algorithm to lean more right.

  • Ohh damn, the same dev made Yatse. That's awesome, I've been using that app for years.

  • Ah, I can't speak Symfonium's WebDAV or SMB handling. My music server runs Navidrome that uses the subsonic api. All I have to do is point my music player at my url and I can sync favorites and listen counts across everything, it's pretty great.

  • Not FOSS but I use Symfonium to stream music from my Navidrome instance on my NAS while I'm out of the house.

Edit, saw your last comment. What couldn't you get working?

  • I like my memes hand crafted, the old fashion way. The way our forefathers made memes on the old Internet. Nice job.

  • Lol I named my wifi this. No one gets it but me. 😢
