  • During my senior capstone project, our group was prepping a slideshow, and we were picking a shape for text boxes so we'd be stylistically consistent

    I said "not circles" with more conviction than I intended. It was pretty late, so when they asked me why I said "because they're dumb and I hate them" instead of the full explanation about PowerPoint being really bad at elliptical text boxes

    It started a running joke where whenever our prototype's design required circles, they'd pretend to talk me down like I was going to start fighting the circles XD
