  • No, people would be charging their cars when they come back from work. And that is also the time where energy demand already is at it's highest. If everyone were to drive a BEV it'd be a lie to say that this wouldn't have an impact on the grid.

  • Islam is not compatible with western society/values. You can see this very well in germany, where even the left-leaning mainstream media sloooooowly starts acknowledging the issues that come with islamic parallel societies. I absolutely cannot understand why leftists so vehemently defend Islam when this religion has values which are the literal OPPOSITE of what leftists fight for. This is not racism, this is not Islamophobia, it's plain facts that Islam has a lot of problems.

  • Nah, they do what they always do: mass layoffs

  • Dude what's with ur crusade against dark mode lol. It's not like dark mode replaced light mode.

  • U sure it isn't "Pajeet"? That one seems worse.

  • This is what baffles me the most - the effects of Trumps regime aren't abstract - no, they are the very opposite, very tangible, to be felt by literally anyone. Like the most obvious thing should be the increase in gas prices, followed by the increase in groceries. Do those people have a) so much money that they simply don't care or b) don't have the mental capacity that all of this is directly because of Trump? And what kinda jobs do those people have that they are not affected by the mass layoffs and hiring freezes?

  • Who doesn't? Basically every adult has one. Or do u pay everything in cash? And don't u get automatically a debit card when u open a giro bank account?

  • won't take long anymore for the US to be a less free country than China lol

  • Guess they didn't see the 18000 water cups video when Taco Bell tried pulling this shit lol. People gonna be ordering wild things lol.

  • I'm dumb, can anyone explain why anyone would pay for AI? I mean if I type claude.ai into my browser, I can use Claude for free?

  • This CEO prolly thinks he's generous cos he ain't firing them (yet) lol. So the peasant employees should be grateful for having still a job in the first place lol

  • Thy can, when it comes to their body weight lol

  • It's a different scenario altogether if you are travelling. What I mean, is for every-day things, like commuting to work. In my locality, there are no public chargers available. And I can't charge at work, either. There are two charging stations available at my supermarket, but those two are definitely not enough and you can't roll the dice everytime you go to the supermarket hoping thay one spot is available. And that's not just where I live. There are still a lot of places in germany which face the same issues. Sure, it's getting better generally speaking every year, but right now an EV is not a viable alternative to an ICE car for everyone.

  • Unless the (public) charging infrastructure gets expanded massively, EVs won't become a valid alternative to most people. Not everyone owns a house where you can just slap your own wallbox onto it.

  • The cold temperature issue is solved by Natrium-batteries. Give it a few more years, and we will see more cars having those kinda batteries.

  • What?

  • Hol' up, are you saying black people, those that are currently alive and have not lived during the age of slavery and segration, should just get money like that? Paid by white people who didn't do those injustices? When you go to germany, do you also blame random 20 year olds for Nazi Germany and say they should pay up for that? Wtf?

  • What? Seems to be a thing in your region, cos here in germany prices have "only" risen by factor 2 to 3 at most. Just looked at prices on Amazon for 2x8GB DDR4 ram, the cheapest goes for around 150 Euros. Before, it was 70 Euros.

  • When the tabacco industry tells you that smoking isn't harmful, do u believe it?
