  • First thing I'd troubleshoot... Is your router the issue, or the modem that decodes the signal from your ISP?

    Last I checked, router/AP stuff is pretty easy to DIY (OpenWRT, PFsense, etc). But that's the step after the modem has done what it needs to do.

  • Well this is a particularly bad mistake at a quite inopportune time, I feel like. Silver lining, perhaps: a lot of crazy shit is unfolding in front of a public that is becoming more aware of how bad of an actor the current president is showing himself to be, and he might be in real danger of losing control of his base in numbers that matter.

    Voting season will be a proving ground. I am hoping midterms have a strong and resolved response to this shit and the results are outside margins of error. I can't accept the alternative, it's too sad a prospect to really process right now. I really do think a fair vote will reveal the resilience of our democracy. I really fucking hope we have free and fair elections for midterms. I think we will, I hope beyond hope we do, I am asserting we will and now reality must bend to my will, we will. I hope.
