  • "the question, neo"

    "what is the matrix internet?"

  • and Mojeek =^

  • finally a left center right dynamic forming in the youngest state on earth. threeparty system letsgooo

    • StartPage, Mojeek, SearXNG, YaCy
    • hyperlink surfing "extranets", as you would WikiMedia WikiPedia InternetArchive FediVerse posts etc.
    • webscrapers like Monolith etc. for offline PIR and just as you say convenience of having it all there

i look forward to reading what you come up with, because i am still kinda at the theoretical stage with keeping such a knowledgebase.

edit: i keep thinking a plaintext document of information is way simpler to deal with than webpages. at what point is information posted online preserved in it's "original" form? just dumping this FediThread into a plaintext file or a folder of plaintext files with names being 'hierarchy•postID•username' or something so it is presented self-organized.

OP is ¤, 1st rank comments are ¤a ¤b ¤c and 2nd rank comments attached to comment ¤a are ¤a-a ¤a-b ¤a-c and 3rd rank comments attached to ¤a-c are ¤a-c-a ¤a-c-b ¤a-c-c so on. this then lists itself in a self-organized way, given all ASCII & unicode characters are provided in order. not just a-Z... because that would limit size of posts to take on.

ofcourse more difficult and complicated solutions like selfhosting webservers and managing ports and databases exist... not that i grasp the necessity for so many services.

  • i hope i am not too late to opt out, i didn't get the notice since you're not legally obliged to inform me in any way. my bad

    i opt out

bank number 198420 fullname Willy Wallace Wankerson... also i don't have 50$ to pay, please don't charge me more for not being able to pay, even though it was my fault for not replying in time (as stated in your post and upheld-until-paid-to-be-considered-otherwise in court.)

  • not preachy, or atleast not unwanted. i am taking the "get ready for the day before (insert screen activity)" tip, now i wonder how i might do something that i don't want to do for 60 seconds every day... but i suppose that's just anything i've been meaning to put off at this point... haha.

the truth is i have diagnoses, time at doctors and no help. doctors are great if they're not understaffed underpaid and proverbially extinguishing fires from budget cuts.

some of it is the novelty of screen addiction to institutions: i have yet to meet anyone in these helping roles who've ever been around screen addiction or way less so that have struggled and surpassed it themselves. so a lot of the discussion gets dumbed down (to make talking of computers & gaming palatable) and off the mark (no doctor or therapeft i've met face the gravity of the situation, thus denying me access to treatment on the basis of "oh that's just autism" so on... for almost a decade. rolling the ball anew as i've moved since then.)

  • Maximilian Kasy's book seems cool, yes.

thanks for responding that it was a weirdly phrased question, now ik.

  • okay thanks, no existing model is ethical is what you're saying. i were thinking of the biases of models which might skew machiavellian in the output.

  • watching parent play videogames, touching screen to make effects, being asked to play using one part of the controls (like "you control movement, i look around. now lets switch") asking how they'd make all caps letters after showing them how the shift key works

  • to add to this excellent reply: we are drastically losing resources by that very same plastic & pollution & climate change. so this way ahead we lose earth's capacity to sustain this amount of people, inevitably.

the oligarchs are the richest- every year breaking record wealth in human history- and the least efficient in using that wealth and the most delusional. that Jeff Bezos is intent of living on Mars - a planet without the earth's abundance. that's like a noob on easy mode with power leveled allies always helping out in coop asking you trust they can take on the hardest difficulty of a game solo. no track record of success in this world, delusional to think mars isna solution

  • don't forget the 1/3rd or sonething of all food harvested and cooked and packaged and shipped that gets thrown into dumpsters that the same billionare's stolen capital "safeguard" from those impoverished and starving. we could sustain more people by literally not throwing actual food into actual trash.

  • and the US school tests are the simplest in the world...

  • okay, phew =) i got anxious for some reason.
